What are my options if I am unsuccessful for the role?
addremove

While we know a job rejection can be disappointing, that doesn’t mean you’ve completely missed your chance. You can always join our talent pool and if another role comes up, you are more than welcome to apply. You can sign up to our talent pool at the bottom of the page.

Can I get feedback if my interview was unsuccessful?

Our recruitment team always aim to give feedback after an interview. We want our potential candidates to have something positive to take away that helps them next time round.

We occasionally sponsor international nurses, but this is dependent upon the needs of the business.

Are background checks or DBS required?

Yes. These are mandatory checks that everyone at Hallmark goes through no matter the role. If you have something to declare, please tell our recruitment team as soon as possible to discuss further.

Can I request reasonable adjustments during the recruitment or interview process?
addremove

Absolutely. We want to give you the best chance of success and will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please tell a member of our recruitment team what adjustments you require, so they can make the necessary arrangements.

We value openness and encourage you to let us know any extra support you need. There is an option to tell us in your application form and upon your first screening phone call.

Our screening and interview process is quite varied already and consists of phone calls, online / remote interviews and in person interviews. Please tell our recruitment team your preferred way of communicating and they will try to accommodate.

We are open to making reasonable adjustments and are always working towards being an inclusive employer. Neurodiversity is a varied condition and what works for one person may not work for another, this is why we work with candidates on an individual basis depending on their personal needs.

Our homes have disabled facilities as does our Central Support office.

We are open to providing reasonable adjustments to our neurodivergent team members. We can provide extra support or mentorship if that is something that would be helpful to you.

We are open to discuss any extra needs that you require to succeed in your role at Hallmark.

While this is location and role dependent, there is definitely room for discussion on flexible and low sensory work environments.

We are committed to EDIB and want to celebrate everyone’s individuality. This is ongoing work but we have started with team support groups and hope this involves as many team members as possible to help them feel like they belong.

Yes, we currently have a wellness network and EDIB working group, where each home has an EDIB champion who are an accessible, approachable, and familiar face that provides a mechanism for all teams to feel heard and involved in encouraging an inclusive culture at Hallmark

We hope you don’t have any concerns, but if you do one of the following people will be more than happy to answer any queries you have:

-            Line manager

-            EDIB champion

-            Mental Health First Aider

-            People & Performance Business Advisor

Currently, training on neurodiversity is on a need-by-need basis.
